The Magic Trackpad with the USB-C port is only compatible with macOS Sequoia 15.1. It will not be compatible with macOS Ventura.

If you cannot upgrade your Mac to macOS Sequoia, return the trackpad and get the Magic Trackpad with the Lightning port, which will be perfectly compatible with your version of macOS.
