If you use Safari, it may have been automatically saved ... see if you can view the website password.

Apple support's online article: Use passwords on iPad - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"In the Passwords app , you can find all your passwords, passkeys, and verification codes in one place. You can use your passwords on all your devices where you sign in to the same Apple Account and turn on Passwords & Keychain in iCloud settings. And if you use AutoFill to sign in to websites and apps, your passwords automatically appear in Passwords."

Also: Use passkeys to sign in to websites and apps on iPad - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"You can create and save passkeys to replace the passwords you use to sign in to supported websites and apps on your iPad".

and

"Like passwords, passkeys are encrypted and stored in your iCloud Keychain, where they aren’t visible to anyone (including Apple)."

and

"You can have a passkey and password for the same website or app, and find them both under the same account in the Passwords app."
