Unable to access iCloud data from Clips App

Hello,

I'm wondering if anybody has an idea what I can do in this situation. We have an iPad and a couple of iPhones in the family, all connected to the same Apple account. At some point on some devices, the "Clips" app was downloaded and used to make a bunch of videos - 4.8GB worth. I believe these were done using the iPad. When we started getting out of space errors from the iCloud account, I turned off the cloud sync on the iPad. Unfortunately, that also made the saved clips unavailable. When i re-enabled the iCloud sync for the Clips app, they did not re-appear.

I can still see that "Clips" is taking up 4.8GB of iCloud storage, and I have the option from a connected one of the iPhones to delete it, I believe. However, if I browse online to our iCloud storage, the clips don't show up anywhere (not in documents, photos, movies, etc), and installing the Clips app on the iPhone does not connect it to the data either.

What we want to do is figure out a way to get to those Clips and copy them locally to a device (iPad, preferably) before deleting them from the iCloud.

Does anybody have any idea how we could accomplish this?

Thanks!

Finding iCloud Data:

A. Download All of iCloud Drive:

You can download all of iCloud, and then search through the iCloud download using a the Search Bar on the top-right corner of a new Finder window. Use my User Tip: Getting a Quick and Direct "iCloud Drive-to-External Hard Drive" Download - User Tip

B. Download the Rest of iCloud:

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, none of these steps work for Clips data. When we look at our iCloud online, we can see data used, but every section - Documents, photos, deleted items, etc - is empty. It shows up as "Other network documents" or something like that in the list online that says where storage is used, and on the devices (iPhone/iPad), it is listed as data from Clips (the App - "Clips"). It is definitely not include in the iCloud Drive files, so doesn't show up when syncing iCloud Drive. And even when Clips is set to synchronize to the cloud, the clips from iCloud don't show up as available to open within the App.

About "Others" on iCloud Drive:

As it Reads: Others can contain various categories, but it depends on what you store in iCloud, and whether you're part of a Family Sharing group that shares iCloud storage. Usually, your two largest storage categories show their true category names on your iPhone or iPad, and the rest of your categories get combined into Others.
