iMac Photos - after OS update to Ventura - no more collections?

We recently had our iMac updated to Ventura (13.7.6) and when I opened Photos I found that although I still have folders and albums, the category Collections is gone. (Yes, I know the photos are still in the library but I used Collections to gather together certain groups of photos.) What gives?

Seems "Collections" has been replaced by "Memories" yet they are not the same thing.
