iPhone 16 Plus won't sync to iTunes 12.13.7.1

I got a new iPhone 16 Plus because my 14 died. I can't get my new phone to connect to iTunes? I open the app and my music is there, but the phone isn't recognized. Are there any fixes? How do I sync my music library that I've spent years creating?
