Apple Store in Vermont?

I know this is kinda random and not tech related but will an Apple Store ever open in Vermont? I lived in Vermont my whole life and there’s like a void for tech services and repair well I know there’s places like small dog and Best Buy in Vermont but my opinion but not entirely sure but I feel like the Apple Store has more services for repair and help etc than those other places. For example I recently had to drive 150 miles just to get my iPad serviced. That was like 6 hours of driving just for a basic repair that many customers in other states can take care of in their own city. For a brand as innovative and customer-focused as Apple, this kind of access gap shouldn’t exist in Vermont.

It's not only Vermont. The state where I live has multiple Apple Stores in one major city (and its suburbs) but none in the rest of the state including where I live (population 400,000). I suspect if you examine the following list of Apple Stores you will see a strong correlation with major population centers. Store List - Apple Store - Apple

From southern Vermont, it’ll probably still be quicker to go to Nashua, Albany (Guilderland), or Holyoke, than to get from southern Vermont to Burlington and back. And yeah, population matters. Nashua is roughly twice the population of Burlington. I did some business with Small Dog too, back when they were in the Manchester NH mall. Good bunch.

It would be beneficial if it opened in Burlington ...

No one here can give you an official answer or reason as we are not Apple but your fellow end users. Apple does not respond here and, given the massive number of new posts every day, may not read posts here.

In my state, the only Apple Store is in the capital, a 5-hour drive on mostly two-lane roads. It's faster to drive the two-lane road north out of state for two hours to find the "nearest" Apple Store to us.

As others have said, population density seems to be a key factor.
