MacBook Air M4 external SSD transfer speed limited to 480 Mb/s

Mac book Air M4 device running on latest macOS sequoia 15.5. But when I connect this with external SSD with the enclosure - Baseus FlyJoy Series SSD Enclosure (M.2 NVMe and SATA), following information shows

My SSD details are,

For this setup I only took unto 480Mb/s speed on MacBook Air M4 while the same configuration on MacBook M1 Pro Max took 10 Gb/s

What is the solution for this? is any others facing the same issue?

That indicates something is causing it to only connect at USB2 speeds.

Make sure you are using a USB3/4 rated cable. Try another cable anyway.

If you are using any adapters, docks, or hubs with it, then connect the SSD directly to the laptop instead.

Try using another USB port on the laptop, especially on the other side of the laptop.

Disconnect all other devices in case one of them is causing a problem.
