Apple Podcasts app crashes on MacBook Air M4 after Sequoia update

Unable to open podcasts app on Macbook Air using M4 and running latest Sequoia update (15.5) - app crashes repeatedly - have rebooted several times as directed without success - latest app update loaded

Hi.

Crashing issue with the Podcasts app on your MacBook Air M4 running macOS 15.5. Since rebooting and updating didn’t help, try these:

Quit Podcasts completely (Command + Q) and reopen it.

Check for any pending system updates again.

Try deleting the Podcasts app cache by going to ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.podcasts and removing its contents (make sure the app is closed first).

If nothing works, consider reinstalling the app or contacting Apple Support.
