I have an audiobook on my Books app on my phone and another audio book in my Books library on my Mac
For some reason I am not able to sync the books between the two devices.
Same Apple account
Both devices running updated iOS
Book format: Apple MPEG-4 audio
Please advice

Audiobooks don’t always sync between iPhone and Mac like other stuff especially if you added them yourself and didn’t buy them from the Book Store.
To get them to sync:
• Open the Books app on your Mac
• Connect your iPhone and open Finder or iTunes
• Find the Audiobooks section and sync the books to your iPhone manually
AirDrop or iCloud Drive won’t make them appear in the Books app. The files need to be synced properly. Also check the file’s metadata to make sure it’s marked as an Audiobook.
