whatsapp contact names are jumbled after restore from icloud

Hi all, I recently move iphone 16 pro. Whatsapp was automatically installed after pairing new phone with old one but what I found is that the names of all my contacts are all jumbled. I tried to restore from my icloud backup too but problem persist. As soon as restore, for few moments whatsapp shows correct contact names but within few moments it gets overwritten. Have tried resinstalling but didn't work. Now whatsapp on my old phone also show jumbled contact names. Ex. Actual name of person is John P in my phone contact but whatsapp contact show Mike in whatsapp contact. Any idea how this can be fixed?
