Unable to open any private tabs in iPhone Safari browser

i can’t open any private tabs in the safari browser. i’ve tried restarting my phone, restarting the browser and i can’t clear the browsers cache if that helps.

Hi.

If you can’t open Private Tabs in Safari, it might be because Screen Time restrictions are enabled.

Check Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Web Content and make sure “Limit Adult Websites” or “Allowed Websites Only” isn’t blocking Private Browsing.

If that’s not the case, try these:

Make sure Safari isn’t in Low Data Mode or a profile that restricts browsing.

Restart the phone again and update to the latest iOS version.

If the problem persists, resetting all settings Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings can sometimes fix weird Safari issues without erasing data.
