MacBook Air making click noise when opening and closing lid
Hey,
My MBA is making a “clicking” noise when opening or closing the lid. There is also another “bubble wrap” noise coming when swiping through the right hinge area (internally). When I do this, the “clicking” noise reduces, or sometimes goes away. But then comes back after few hours or next day. This cycle repeats each day. In the beginning I thought it will go away but now it’s more frequent. There is definitely right hinge issue. But it’s not impacting any performance. I visited apple service provider (Idestiny) and they said nothing can be done as it’s not impacting performance.
I’m currently under the limited warranty period, what can be done for this? Has anyone else faced the same issue?
