Location Settings for Safari on MacBook Air Are Not Working

When I visit Google maps in Safari and click on the current location icon in the bottom right, it says that I need to enable location services for this website. In my Safari settings google.com was already enabled to allow for location so I removed it, restarted the computer, and added it again - still not functioning. I am updated to the latest software as of 7/22/25.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.5
