Touch Bar and Keyboard Backlight suddenly not working on bootcamp side of Macbook pro 2016 13"

I booted up my macbook today (2016 13 inch 4 thunderbolt) and suddenly the keyboard backlight wasn't turning on and the touchbar wasn't working, but when I went to go back to the original mac os, it ended up working perfectly, and then i switched back to windows and it was still broken, i have already reset the smc and stuff and it still doesn't work. could someone please help me fix this? its very crucial to the work that i'm doing that everything works on my windows running macbook. Thank you.

To fix Touch Bar and Keyboard Backlight in Boot Camp (Windows) on 2016 MacBook Pro, Reinstall Boot Camp Drivers

  1. Boot into macOS.
  2. Go to Applications > Utilities > Boot Camp Assistant.
  3. From the menu bar, choose Action > Download Windows Support Software.
  4. Save it to a USB drive (or anywhere you can access from Windows).
  5. Boot into Windows.
  6. Open the downloaded support folder and run Setup.exe — this reinstalls all drivers including the Touch Bar and keyboard backlight control.

Important: Right-click Setup.exe and choose Run as Administrator to ensure all drivers install correctly.
