Draft emails disappear on my iPhone Mail app

On iPhone 15 pro max - I have always been able to save email drafts that I am not ready to send. Lately - there is nothing there when I go to open it. Also there is a red circle with a slash through it next to each draft email. Everything but the recipient’s name and the subject have vanished. I have enough memory.

I really need help with this problem. My phone is fully updated - in fact this started after the last update. I have restarted my phone multiple times.

I would appreciate help with this.
