My iPhone 16e won't connect to Bose SoundLink

After for searching for pairing info, I found nothing that applies to my new 16e phone. Clicking on bluetooth from the music app isn't possible, and going to settings/bluetooth doesn't show the speaker under Other Devices. So, can I pair the speaker or not?
