Apple Fitness+ app crashing during a workout on Apple Watch

The fitness +app frequently crashes mid workout and it will not resume where it left off and I cannot fast forward to where I was!! This is incredibly frustrating when you’re in the middle of a workout. I’m just about to give up on this app!!!
