Here’s my personal take on iCloud+ from a user perspective.
What I Like
I genuinely appreciate how well iCloud+ fits into the Apple ecosystem. My photos, messages, notes, and backups all stay in sync across my iPhone, iPad, and Mac without me having to think about it. The extra privacy features like Hide My Email and Private Relay are a nice bonus, especially since I try to limit how often I share personal info online. I also like being able to share my 200 GB plan with my family—it feels like good value.
What Could Be Better
That said, there are a few things I wish were different. It would be great if there were more storage tiers—like 500 GB or 1 TB. Jumping from 200 GB to 2 TB feels like too much for some users.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I think iCloud+ is a solid service, especially if you’re all-in with Apple. It keeps everything connected, and for most people, it just works. But for those who use other platforms or want more flexibility, there’s still room to grow.
