iPad mini stopped receiving iMessage responses from iPhone users
I have an iPad mini 7 and I use iMessage with an email (no iPhone). I regularly exchange iMessages with my husband and sister who both have iPhones. My husband has the iPhone 16pro. A few weeks ago I stopped getting responses from my sister and then a few days later from my husband. I can still send to them, and I can still send and receive from everyone else,
I have replicated the problem for Apple support multiple times and they have no solution. I have deleted the conversation, deleted the contact, reset the network and even reset the iPad.
Sometimes after they send a response I get three dots but nothing ever comes in.
I tried a three way chat and it worked. I could send and receive from both… but when I tried a three way chat with myself and my husband it did not.
Please help!Help.. I have an Ipad7 and use iMessage with a email address. I have been messaging my husband and sister for years (previously on an iPad5). Suddenly a few weeks ago I stopped getting their responses. They still get my messages, but when they respond it never gets delivered. Sometimes I get three dots… sometimes nothing.
If I send them both an iMessage they both get it and can both respond and I get those messages no problem.
We have tried deleting contacts and prior messages, resetting my iPad. We have messaging on the same network and several different networks. Nothing g works.
I have tried apple support a couple times of times and was elevated to engineers but they never responded and closed my ticket. Please share any suggestions!!!!
