iPhone 16 Pro not working with Carplay

So I have a 2024 Nissian Kicks and a IPhone 16 Pro. My CarPlay used to work perfectly (wired) with my phone until one day it just stopped connecting. It connects fine with other peoples phone so I assume it is not a cable issue. I have done everything with resetting the cars setting as well as the phones settings. There is nothing restricting CarPlay. I assume it is a phone issue but I just cannot figure it out. If you have any recommendations please help!
