Deleted music files not in Trash

When you delete a song from the Music app library on a computer and then tell it to delete the file as well where does it go. I just deleted a bunch of duplicates in the app and yet there's nothing in my Trash. Where did those files go?

If the source files are inside the media folder then they should be sent to the trash. If they are located outside of the media folder then, as far as I know, Music just deletes the reference to them, regardless of any prompt that appears.
