Macbook Air M2 - Possible manufacturing defect?

I bought a Macbook M2 a month ago and today while I was wiping the device I noticed a slight defect or am I hallucinating? When you look at the gap between the screen and the bottom part in the middle, it appears to be a little curved and uneven especially from the sides to the middle.

Is this a manufacturing defect or do all Macbooks now have this slight bent when it comes to that gap?

My M2 13" MBA is the same. You can especially see it if you sight down (close one eye while looking down the long side) the long corner. This is also how you would sight down the barrel of a rifle or check the straightness of a guitar neck. I think it's normal, however I never noticed it until you mentioned it. It doesn't bother me personally in the least bit.

Looks like what can happen when someone carries their laptop by holding it there with a tight grip.

I've never carried mine (with a tight grip or not) and mine is somewhat the same.

That being said, the bottom case is thin and I don't believe the internals (especially at the back edge) are perfectly flat either so the bottom case could be viewed as being a little warped. This is also where the bottom case is secured using the four slide clips (with no screws) so if the clips are slightly uneven or where they are attached to the internal frame are even a hair off, it could be seen, especially when sighting down that long edge.

Note that on mine, I don't see it at all when viewed from the back as the above pics illustrate. I can only see it if sighting down that edge.
