My issue was with find my iphone not sharing location on an iphone 16 Pro Max.

I could not share location in find my app with family or others. I tried all of the location settings, resets for location, software updates. Called Verizon and Best Buy. Checked forums and Googled it. Finally, called apple support and realized there was a red dot in my settings that my iCloud wasn't syncing. I clicked that and put in my phone lock screen PIN and it worked immediately.
