A message keeps appearing stating Malware Blocked which doesn’t allow any actions on the MacBook? Any views on how to resolve

Yes, post the free EtreCheck report using the Additional Text option when posting and the name of the file being blocked in the message. The EtreCheck report contains no personal information and will identify the files launching on startup that is causing the problem. With that we can advise on what files will need to be erased, usually there are more than one.

If you don't want to use the EtreCheck method, then you would need to post a screenshot of these 3 folders by going to the Finder and choosing the Go menu, followed by Go to Folder. After that copy and paste each of these in there and don't forget the "~" in the last one. It is not as helpful as the EtreCheck report, but may still be possible to tell you which files to remove.
