Siri not texting one specific contact unless the name is misspelled

I've narrowed it down. Siri keeps having an issue when I ask Siri to text one contact. I've followed online steps of turning Siri on and off, restarting my phone, checking for updates, deleting the contact, etc. I've deleted and recreated this contact. What I've found is that, if I leave the "e" off of his last name, Siri can text him. But, as soon as I spell his name correctly, Siri sends an error message again. It looks like the contact is corrupt somewhere in my system. GhatGPT says I need to do a search for him and delete EVERYTHING associated with his name. But, this is my spouse, so I don't want to lose all that history. Plus, I type his name a lot. Any other troubleshooting steps you'd recommend?
