Help, Safari IOS 18 .5 freezes all the time

Browser on my iPad freezes all the time. In fact when I was typing this question, it froze and I had to restart. I have followed all the guidance – cleared cache, cleared website pages in the advanced tab and nothing has helped. I have 14 GB space available. You can’t uninstall and reinstall it as it’s native to the iOS. I have tried other browsers, but I prefer Safari so your guidance is appreciated
