After quitting the Weather App on my MacBook Pro 16 M2, the annoying random (sometimes constant) beeping is finally gone after 2 months or so worth of arrogance.
What gives? I had a tendency to keep the app open at all times. Now, I have to get my weather forecast off Google on a Safari tab.

Never mind. Even though the weather app has been closed, and that no one has utilized the laptop since, and that the lid has been closed overnight, the beeping resumed in full force. It's 5 AM, and the beeping is sounding with the lid closed or not.
Not a happy camper!
I have no anti-virus installed. The only 3rd party apps I have installed are: photoshop, Chrome, Firefox (though I use Safari 99% of the time), WhatsApp (which I pretty much never use), Brother Print Center, EntreCheck.
I'm starting to think it is hardware-based. I disconnected all the USB devices this morning, and no beeping all day. One of the left-side USB ports is having issues, as the plugged-in cable is somewhat loose (blaming the jack itself) and often giving me a popup error in relation to the Time Machine SSD.
Could it be caused by a faulty thermometer within the machine?
