Garage band suppressing guitar but works for vocals

I have a M4 Macbook pro and I recently started to use garage band. At first recording with the built in mic was great but as soon as I started singing, trying to record my acoustic guitar or really any sounds other than someone talking.

It pops up for a split second before being suppressed. I disabled all the presets, noise gate and feedback protection. I even went ahead and turned off any eq filters present.

Here the issue; Sounds, my guitar (and if I hold a note while singing for long enough) is instantly cancelled (gone like if noise gate was activated) out.

Works fine If I talk. no issue with my microphone
