iPhone iOS 18.5 and Cloud Music Library bug
Subscribed to iTunes Match (more than 24 hours ago). Music Library (3,622 songs) on Mac OS Ventura 13.7. “Updating Cloud Music Library” continually showing in sidebar. Library on iPhone (iOS 18.5) appears completely synced BUT attempts to play certain selected songs on iPhone results in the app scrolling to another song by same artist, e.g. if I select “Little Wing” by Jimi Hendrix from “Axis: Bold As Love" it will scroll down and play “Purple Haze” from "Are You Experienced”. Similarly, selecting “Doctor My Eyes” from 'The Very Best of Jackson Brown' will result in the app scrolling to “Take It Easy” from the same album. There are countless other instances of the same problem.
I have tried numerous ways of solving this, without success, e.g. de-authorising, quitting and reinstalling Music, reloading, turning Sync Library off etc. etc.
Has anyone encountered this issue and, if so, what is the solution?
