Safari Not Saving New Bookmarks

On iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 18.5. Today I cleared Safari’s cache and history. Tonight, while using Safari, I tried to save a new bookmark and the “save” button is grayed out. I’m not able to save any new bookmarks now. Does anyone have any idea why? Thanks for all replies.
