I have been testing the shortcut "Cmd L", I have checked the Command Editor , Cmd L is correctly assigned to Loop playback. But still when I select a clip and press Cmd L, nothing happens. It is driving me crazy 😅 Thank you for your help.

Command-L is a toggle. You press to turn it on, press again to turn off. You do NOT press it to start playing.
With Loop turned on, just press space to play.

To play a range in the timeline, press the forward slash key "/" instead of space.
Command-L still applies (if checked it will loop playback your range, otherwise it will play just once and stop).

Be sure that loop playback has a check mark and use play selection to play and loop the selected clip(s) in timeline. You can select with range tool too.

Comme Luis l’a écrit, Loop playback est seulement une option qui affecte la lecture.

See your screenshot above. Due probably to you having a different layout, the shortcut for "Play Selection" is "<" and not "/".
If you have a range set in the timeline, and press the "<" shortcut, or choose Play Selection from the menu, then what exactly happens?
Thank you for your reply. I have tried that but it still does not work even when I select a small portion of my timeline for it play in loop. Selecting a portion of my timeline, pressing "Cmd L" + space bar and it plays the all edit, not the portion I have selected (with the range tool or by putting two editing points).
