Calendar schedules events one hour earlier than set on iPhone

Every time I add events to my calendar it books everything an hour earlier than what I’m adding.

I’ve tried everything with time zones etc. nothing works. It’s very annoying

Hi Pilotlangdon

Re: "Calendar books hour earlier"

Could iPhone be making time zone adjustments automatically ? (eg: Location not set, or incorrect ?)

or

Wondering if there are two different time zones in use somehow ... (iPhone synced with another device?)

(top time in screenshot says CST yet time underneath doesn't)

Else : Could daylight saving be in operation unnecessarily?

iPhone articles from Apple support (links below) may or may not help:

To check on the settings in place:

See: Change the date and time on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"The time zone on your iPhone is set automatically, but if you don’t have Location Services turned on

or you don’t have service, you can change it manually.

  1. Go to Settings  > General > Date & Time.
  2. Turn off Set Automatically, then tap Time Zone.
  3. Enter a location in the search field, then tap the result to change the time zone.

To change the default date and time, turn off Set Automatically, then change the date and time displayed."

_____________

Else: If needed:

See what to do: If you can't change the time or time zone on your Apple device - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"You can use Date & Time settings to have your device adjust automatically for time zone changes and daylight saving time. If the wrong date, time, or time zone appears on your device, or if it doesn't automatically adjust for daylight saving time, learn what to do." (More info in linked article above).

All the best :-)
