I purchased a MacBook Pro 16 inch Apple M4 Max 64 GB of memory running sequoia 15 five. Since the latest update I am unable to send email. I can prepare it but before I go to send it, the little airplane turns gray and no matter what I do, I can’t get it to send. This appears to be a recent problem with the Sequoia 15.5 update. Please help.

If you read what I wrote, I have been using Mac’s for 40 years. Your suggestions are well intentioned but obvious and it seems to be an Apple OS issue. It is not WiFi, ISP, or anything which requires me to reinstall.

I read your post there is no mention of you being a mac user for 40 years, but that is irrelevant.

I guess you were offended. I contacted Apple support and they determined it was a bug related to spell check.
as to 40 years, I am not an engineer but I am experienced. Take that as you will. I did not intend to demean your effort to assist me, merely to advise you your recommendations did not resolve my issue. Thanks for your intended assistance.
