Updating locations of lost iPad and iPhone in Find My app

Some backstory: I lost both my iPad and iPhone around 2 months ago in two different moments (stolen by different people). My iPhone says the date lost mode was activated but my IPad says lost mode pending…

Still after some weeks off, now when I log into the Find My app, I get locations on both devices. I was wondering, in case I went to said locations, would my new iPhone allow me to reproduce a sound on the lost devices?

And also, in Find My app the devices get updates every now and then, but when I log into iCloud online, it says location unknown. Even if simultaneously the app has a location
