How to get contacts from download on iTunes for new iPhone 16

Contacts do not exist on the SIM card for an iPhone. And they are not in an iTunes backup. They are synced with mail accounts, since as iCloud, Gmail, etc. You need to determine where your contacts reside and activate that on a new device.
