The Synchronisation between iPhone (12 mini) and iMac doesn't work ?

Sometimes, when I collected too much Photos on my iPhone (12 mini) I use to plug it with my iMac (Late 2017) to download the Files on Photo and sync only the last 6 months (i. E.)

Now I can download by the Sync Process is not more over the Finder reachable?

Is this not more possible (an update) or I have a connection Problem iPhone>iMac with the GUI (Finder)?

Any help will be appreciated

ciao

Thank you Old Toad, I restarted my iPhone than I switched on my airplane mode and plugged with the USB cable.

With a new Finder window I configurate the sync options and this was ok.

The only tedious issue is that many photos was duplicated on the iPhone in the sync process and I eliminate this in the iPhone Photo.app with the option "find duplicates" + "merge duplicates".

So I think my issue is solved and I thank you for your help.

Care to decipher the above sentence? Have no idea what it means.

Have you tried a hard reboot of your iPhone and launching your Photos library with the Option+Command keys held down to rebuild/repair the library?

Then try the sync again.

Have you tried using Image Capture to select and download specific photos to your library?

Sorry I mean: Now I can download the Files BUT the Sync Process isn't available with the Finder; the last time I had only to plug in (USB) the iPhone and open a Finder Window for the plugged device
