How do I recover certain missing iMessage from my contacts?

Okay I’m missing certain imessages from my contacts and I would like to get them back.

iCloud sync settings are set to forever, my device is up to date, I have proper storage I cloud, I checked recently deleted messages and restored them and I restarted my phone but the messages are missing can anyone please help me locate them or have the restored it’s been less than a week.
