I have mackie element carbon usb-c mic that works on my imac. When i plug it into any of the 3 available usb-c ports on the m4 mini, Sequoia 15.5 does not see it in the "sound" system settings. Also the mute LED on the mic does not light up, as it does normally. I have tried several functioning usb-c cables. Any ideas? Thanks.

The manufacturer said it has to plug into 3.0 USB port and of course the Mac mini is USB-C. However, an adapter solve the problem. Thank you Then and Toad for taking the time to reply.
Have you contacted the developers of the mackie element carbon usb-c mic and asked them?
Try plugging the Mic into one of the M4 Mac mini's front USB-C ports.
Then open the System Settings > Sound > select the Input tab.
Thanks for replying, but as I mentioned, it is not seen from any usb port at: System Settings > Sound > select the Input tab.
