I keep getting ghost messages from my mom’s new 16e?
I bought my mom a 16e but I keep getting strange text messages that she did not send.

Sounds like your mom’s new phone might still be linked to your Apple account or phone number, or maybe iMessage is mixing things up. Double-check that her phone is signed in with her own Apple account and not yours. Also, make sure her number and email are set up correctly in Settings > Apps > Messages > Send & Receive.
