iPhone 16 / iOS 18.5. How can I make the phone stop beeping over and over while it is charging? I see advice to turn off System Haptics, but that is already off. All the steps I have found online are for older models. And I have not found a solution in the User Guide.

The iPhone is not designed to chime while charging. The only time it chimes is when you start to charge. If it is chiming repeatedly while charging, that means that the power is cutting out and back on again. Check your charging port if using a wire to see if there is any lint or other debris in there. Try using a different cable, either a genuine Apple cable or one that is MFi (Made For iPhone). If using a wireless charger, try a wired charger.

Chris, thank you for the information. I tried using a different charger of the same model and it didn't chime! By switching I was able to isolate the problem to the charger rather than the power supply.
