Cannot locate "Optimize Storage" on my iMac

Greetings. I cannot find "Optimize Storage" on my iMac. I follow the directions as shown below, get to Storage, etc. but the "Recommendations" do not show up at all. I do not know how else to locate "Optimize".....

The "Optimize Storage" there is specifically for Apple TV.


The "Store in iCloud" seems to mix together settings for several iCloud synchronization features. If you have room to keep full-size versions of photos in iCloud Photos, you might want to do that so that local backups will have full-size versions of all of your photos. But the control for that is over in the Photos' application's settings …
