Fake iMessage notifications from known email addresses on iPhone 16

Hello,On my partner's iPhone (iPhone 16, latest iOS), notifications repeatedly appear that look like iMessage messages from two real e-mail addresses (mine and her own). The messages show phrases such as "2 iMessages from [my email address]" or "iMessage from [her email address]", each with the typical green message icon. When tapped, the message disappears immediately without a message appearing in the Messages app. Nothing can be seen in the known iMessage conversations either. Our two addresses are entered correctly in the settings, no other unknown email addresses or devices are linked. There are also no configuration profiles, VPNs or third-party apps with messaging rights. We are concerned that someone is manipulating the message centre via spoofing or other means to spoof notifications with our real addresses and create uncertainty. Can you tell uswhether such fake messages can be recognised or blocked by iOS?whether it is possible for you to check unusual iMessage activity?what additional protective measures Apple recommends?Screenshots of the notifications are available and can be provided if required.Thank you in advance for your support!
