Callers can't hear me or sound distant on iPhone 16 Pro Max with CarPlay in a 2018 Lexus NX300

I have a iPhone 16 ProMax, My Car is a 2018 Lexus NX300. since September of 2024 there was an iOS Update that caused this. Prior to that i had not experienced this issue and I even purchased a new iPhone since my previous iPhone was the 13 ProMax had the same problem.

while in my car and i have CarPlay on, if i make a call or receive a call,...some callers say they can't hear me or that i sound like I'm really far away.

Now i use the description of "Some Callers", because i noticed callers with an iPhone 15 or 16, don't seem to have this problem when i call them or they call me when i am using CarPlay... (it took me 6 months of calling people from my car and gathering their phone information to realize this)

Callers with an android based phone or callers with and iPhone 14 or lower, Always experience not hearing me, or they state that it sounds like I'm really far away. (keep in mind i am shouting at this time).

the quick work around was to unplug my iPhone while driving the car and have a conversation using Bluetooth Or put them on Speaker... keep in mind this is dangerous while driving. and kind of why CarPlay should be working properly.

at first when i had my iPhone 13Promax, after the iOS update last September, I thought it was my phone as i didn't get certain notifications that were necessary for my job. (like Microsoft authenticator), as well as the CarPlay issue. then after resetting my iPhone 13 ProMax and even doing a manufacture reset to default settings, CarPlay still had issues with callers not hearing me or stating that i sound far away.

for a moment I thought, Maybe there just making updates for the newer phones... so in December 2024, i Purchased the iPhone 16ProMax... this resolved the issues with Not receiving notifications from certain Apps.. however, the CarPlay issue still stayed the same...

I dont want to use my Samsung phone for my car and I normally Love the features Apple has to offer within CarPlay.

Can someone help me PLEASE.....

things to keep in mind.

1)this only happens in CarPlay

2)it only happens to certain phones calling me. android based phone or iPhones 14 or lower.

3)this doesn't happen to callers using landline phones, or within an IP protocol, or with iPhones 15 or greater.

4)keep in mind, when using Bluetooth, or the speaker on the phone, the clarity is great, and both caller and recipient can be heard clearly.

5)i have changed out the cables and had the Lexus dealership check the USB Ports as well as the software in the car. the car software is up to date and the phone software is up to date.

6)prior to the iOS update in September of 2024, this problem never existed.

7)Android Auto does not have this problem.

I hope someone can help resolve this, not sure why this is still happening after almost a year, with two iPhones.
