(Via Triple-click on older iPhones) has various menus eg volumes and streaming presets, and a mysterious one labelled
"Mic Input" which can be either off or on.
What's it for?? what Mic is that controlling?? I don't notice any effects being affected!

Some linked accessories (eg: head-sets) may have their own microphone for use with the iPhone's software.
Input from the head-set (or other accessory) can be turned on (eg: for answering a phone call) or off.
