Safari will not download pictures when clicking the download button.

For quite some time now I have noticed a lot of problems with the Safari internet browser. One of the problems is that when I am on certain websites with a download button it will not download. For example on Topaz Labs website and I have generated a photo and I am trying to get the result photo, then it will not download - but when I switch to the Google Chrome browser it all works fine and I am able to download.

I am on a 2019 MacBook with the latest updated MacOS 15.5 (24F74)
