How can I force Shazam to create a new Spotify playlist?

I go to a lot of music events and just in 2025 have already exceeded the apparently current Spotify 11k song limit in a playlist in the My Shazam playlist. In the past I could just rename this playlist in Spotify to something other than "My Shazam Tracks" and Shazam would create a new playlist and away I went.

Now, no matter what I've tried Shazam won't create a new Spotify playlist and Spotify can't seem to copy more than a few hundred songs to another playlist without failing so it's also not easy to copy these 11k tracks to another playlist and delete ones in the current.

Here's what I've tried to no avail:

1) Renamed the "My Shazam Tracks" playlist many times, rebooted, killed apps, etc. but no luck, it uses the renamed playlist.

2) Toggled Sync to Spotify, disconnected Spotify, killed apps, rebooted, turned on, still uses old playlist that is full.

3) iCloud sync is on so I also disabled iCloud sync for Shazam, rebooted, tried again, no luck.

4) Disabled Spotify sync, connected to Apple Music, Shazam'd a song, rebooted, disconnected Apple Music, connected Spotify and enabled sync, same problem...

The only thing I haven't done yet is delete Shazam and reinstall (maybe also with Spotify Sync off) but I also don't want to lose my history of previous Shazam'd tracks so this option makes me nervous.

Is there any way to force Shazam to create a new Spotify playlist? It used to be easy but broke / changed sometime in the past year. I'm guessing that maybe Shazam tracks some sort of Spotify playlist identifier? Is there a way to clear that?
