Cannot access icloud drive from any device - Apple Engineering Escalation- No Response
I purchased a used MacBook Pro 2020 in May 2025. Immediately after purchase I signed into my appleID and was interrupted when my phone died. Ever since then I have had NO ACCESS to my iCloud Drive files, Pages, Numbers, or Keynote via web.
I cannot access on ANY device, not my iphone, not my ipad, not my iMac, not my Macbook Pro, not even using a Windows machine to access via web browser.
I called supporrt and it has been "Escalated to Engineering" weeks ago and I have called every week only to get the same response that they are waiting to hear back from engineering.
I've been a faithful Apple user since I was born starting with the Apple IIe. I have NEVER had such a horrible response to an issue with an Apple Product EVER. I've had all means of devices with all different issues from locked out, crashed HD, to broken screens.
I am beyond furious. I've lost business files including budgets that I can no longer access. My HD space on my laptop is filling up since I can no longer upload the files to the cloud to off load space. I'm paying for a service that is NOT working!
When I ask what can I do Im met with "I'm sorry I wish there was something I could do for you but we have to wait for engineering to respond" and when I ask who is above engineering the response has been "They are a completely separate department that is internal and os only we can contact them" I've apparently reached the top of the ladder and am screwed.
In case SOMEONE out there can HELP here is the best information I can provide:
If I access via a device I just get the spinning ball of death. If I turn on Desktop files it automatically turns it off as soon as I close system settings.

I get a popup that says:
Page has stopped responding
An error has prevented this application from working properly. Help Apple improve it's products by sending us diagnostic and usage information about (Pages, Keynote, Drive, Numbers depending on which I try to access)

Someone, anyone, please help! This issue has gone on for long enough!
