Texts from one person not syncing across all Apple devices

I sent a text to someone from my phone. I can see it on my current iPad, as well as an old one that doesn’t have a SIM, just Wi-Fi. Her response (from her iPhone) shows up ONLY on my old iPad. Regardless of which device I send from, I can see my side of the conversation on all 3 devices, but can’t get her responses on the phone or newer iPad! This is only happening with this one person.

I am having the same issue. I just noticed that texting to one person only shows on my iPad. I see texts from that person on my iPhone and iPad up until 7/9. But no texts on the phone since 7/9. The iPad has several texts since then, including some from today. Nothing on the phone since 7/9!! I synced my messages. Turned iMessage off and back on. I don’t know what else to do, can anyone help. Why would it suddenly stop working for ONE person?
