Unable to see my edit button on my desktop browser while trying to delete emails

hello i am trying to delete emails and im unable to see my edit butoon on my desktop browser. My iphone email would allow me to select edit but there was no option to delete all so i went to the browser instead. im updated to 18.5 so im not real sure where to go from here. the help tips on the website are not helping because the steps shared are not available to me ie edit button or manage preference.

please help!
