Temporary iCloud backup didn't complete, I don't have the old phone anymore.. Please help!

I just got a replacement 13pro and did a temporary backup from the old one. I just sent the old iphone through the post office so I no longer have that.

When setting up my new phone, the temporary backup never completed and I manually added all my apps but, of course, all of my app data didn't transfer (all the games I had and the progress I made.. gone). My initial instinct is to reset the new phone and try again.. I'm just concerned if I do this, will that temporary backup disappear? I don't want to risk it if there's another option to ensure the temporary backup becomes more permanent. Please help!

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 18

Your temporary backup should be available for 7 days after you did the first restore.

See the following from Get temporary iCloud storage when you buy a new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

What happens to your temporary iCloud storage after you restore your backup

After you restore your temporary backup to your new iPhone or iPad, your temporary backup is available for 7 days before it's permanently deleted.

If you want to keep using iCloud to back up your device, you can upgrade to iCloud+.
